  • 288/868

answers cited a list by RealScout, a company that sells software to agents. Only 3 of the 118 named RealScout.

In Google’s AI answers about real estate CRMs on 28 October 2026, software companies drew 410 of 868 links (47%): real estate CRM vendors and general-purpose software such as HubSpot. Videos, forums and publishers’ lists drew 379 (44%). Follow Up Boss appears in most answers, and the rest of the list changes with the kind of agent asking.

A solo agent on a budget, a team lead routing Zillow leads and a wholesaler working a list of sellers all shop for a CRM. When they search Google, an AI answer often comes first.

Google shows AI answers in two places: AI Overviews, a summary with links inside the regular search results, and AI Mode, a separate AI search where you can ask follow-up questions. We asked both the same 20 questions in buyers’ words, from “best real estate crm” to “kvcore alternatives,” three times each, as a user in the United States, and saved every answer with the CRMs it named and the pages it linked to. AI Mode answered all 60 times. An AI Overview appeared for 58 of the 60 searches, so the study has 118 answers.

Vendor: one of the companies in the answers that sell CRM or other software to agents, teams and brokerages. Not in the company list: the owner of the site or YouTube channel is not among the companies in the answers. Dex, which runs one of these channels, makes a personal CRM. In the shares of links by kind of site, its video counts under “Video, forums and social sites”, like every YouTube link. A page counts once per answer.

Source: Wonderflow record of Google AI Mode and AI Overviews answers, 28 October 2026.

HousingWire’s “The 10 Best Real Estate CRM for Every Budget in 2026” was the most-cited list, in 29 answers, ahead of Forbes Advisor’s in 26 and Zapier’s in 18. Zapier sells automation software, so we count its site as general-purpose software.

A vendor’s page can be cited far more often than the vendor is named. RealScout’s list of the best real estate CRMs was cited in 20 answers, while RealScout itself was named in 3. Wise Agent shows the opposite: it was named in 66 answers and its own site linked in 44, its home page in 41, more than any other page in the study.

If you’re choosing a real estate CRM

If you use Google’s AI answers to start a shortlist, four things in the answers we saved on 28 October 2026 are worth knowing. They describe what Google’s AI said that day, not which software fits your business.

  1. Many links lead to videos and forum threads

Video, forum and social sites drew 254 of the 868 links, and in the entries quoted above, lines about Follow Up Boss, BoldTrail and Wise Agent linked to Reddit threads.

  2. AI Mode and AI Overviews give different lists

On each of the 20 questions both AI Mode and AI Overviews answered, the lists differed. For “best crm for zillow leads,” they shared one name.

  3. The most-named CRMs are not named for every kind of business

For commercial real estate, only 3 of the 14 most-named CRMs came up, and for transaction management none did.

  4. Asking again is not a second opinion

In 14 of the 40 groups of three runs, all three returned the same text word for word.

If we were building a shortlist from these answers, we’d check three things first. Start from your kind of agent and need, not the overall count. Open the video, thread or list behind any “best for” label and check who made it. And ask your own question in both AI Mode and AI Overviews, since they gave different lists for every question both answered.

If you sell a real estate CRM

Three things in Google’s AI answers of 28 October 2026 matter if your company sells a real estate CRM. They describe what the answers said that day, not how Google decides.

  1. Being named and having your own page cited are different

Follow Up Boss was named in 87 answers and its own site was linked in 11. Wise Agent was named in 66 and its site linked in 44.

  2. Other companies’ pages describe you

RealScout’s list was the link in Wise Agent’s entry in 18 answers, and in the entries of Vulcan7 and Follow Up Boss in 10 each.

  3. Videos and forums describe you too

YouTube was linked in 66 of 118 answers and Reddit in 62, and four of the ten most-cited pages are YouTube videos.

Missing from the answers, or described wrong?

The tables above show every CRM Google’s AI named in at least two of three runs. In all, the answers named 73 companies, some only once, and linked to the sites of 33 more that they never named. Download the list of all 106 companies (CSV) to see how often each was named and how often answers linked to its site.

If this page misstates what an answer said, write to hello@wonderflow.agency with the link. We reply within five business days. We check what you sent against the saved answer and correct the page if we got it wrong. Corrections are free and don’t depend on working with us.

We can’t change what Google says. The answers link to pages like the ones above: videos, forums, publishers’ lists and vendors’ own pages. When we measure again, the new results will appear on this page, and this measurement will stay available with its date.

Questions about AI answers on real estate CRMs

What is the best real estate CRM, according to Google’s AI?

In 118 answers from Google’s AI Mode and AI Overviews on 28 October 2026, Follow Up Boss was named most often, in 87 answers (6 of them answers about replacing it), followed by Wise Agent in 66, BoldTrail and Lofty in 54 each (6 of BoldTrail’s were answers about replacing kvCORE) and Real Geeks in 49. The list changes with the question: commercial real estate, wholesalers and transaction management got lists of their own. For the exact search “best real estate crm,” Follow Up Boss, Wise Agent, BoldTrail (kvCORE), Lofty (Chime) and Real Geeks were named in all six answers, three runs each in AI Mode and AI Overviews. AI Mode also named HubSpot and REsimpli in two runs, and AI Overviews, whose three runs returned the same text, also named Vulcan7. This is a record of AI answers, not our recommendation.

What is the best free real estate CRM, according to Google’s AI?

For “best free real estate crm” on 28 October 2026, Google’s AI named HubSpot and Zoho CRM in at least two of three runs in both AI Mode and AI Overviews. AI Mode also named EspoCRM, and AI Overviews Airtable, Bitrix24, Trackxi and Softr.

What are the alternatives to Follow Up Boss, according to Google’s AI?

For “follow up boss alternatives” on 28 October 2026, Google’s AI named Wise Agent, BoldTrail (kvCORE), Lofty (Chime), HubSpot, Sierra Interactive, LionDesk, GoHighLevel, CINC, BoomTown, Zoho CRM, monday.com, Less Annoying CRM, RealOffice360 and iHomefinder in at least two of three runs in AI Mode, AI Overviews or both.

What are the alternatives to kvCORE (BoldTrail), according to Google’s AI?

Of the six answers to “kvcore alternatives” on 28 October 2026, Google’s AI named Follow Up Boss, Lofty (Chime) and Real Geeks in all six, Sierra Interactive and LionDesk in four each, Wise Agent in three, then Adamation AI in two. BoldTrail, the new name of kvCORE, is the product being replaced there, so it is not counted.

Does Google’s AI name Follow Up Boss or Lofty more often?

Follow Up Boss, by a wide margin: 87 answers against 54 on 28 October 2026. Leaving out the answers about replacing Follow Up Boss, the count is 81 against 54. Of the 47 answers that suggested both, 38 named Follow Up Boss before Lofty. Entries on Follow Up Boss mentioned leads in 69 of 76 and routing in 39, and entries on Lofty mentioned AI in 45 of 52. These are the answers’ words, not our assessment.

Which pages do Google’s AI answers about real estate CRMs link to?

Real estate CRM vendors drew the most links, with videos and forums close behind. Of 868 links in 118 Google AI Mode and AI Overviews answers on 28 October 2026, 288 (33%) led to the sites of real estate CRM vendors. In AI Overviews alone the share was 143 of 452 links (32%), in AI Mode 145 of 416 (35%). The rest led to YouTube, Reddit and other video, forum and social sites (254), publishers, review sites and directories (125), general-purpose software such as HubSpot and Pipedrive (122), other sites (46) and technical addresses such as images and Google search pages (33).

How do CRMs get into Google’s AI answers?

We can’t see how Google decides what goes into AI Overviews or AI Mode. We can see what the answers link to. In our study of 118 answers on 28 October 2026, YouTube and Reddit were each linked in more than half of the answers (66 and 62), and a company could be cited more often than it was named: RealScout’s list was cited in 20 answers and RealScout in 3.

Is this a ranking of CRMs?

No. It records which CRMs Google’s AI named on 28 October 2026 and which pages it linked to. We have not tested or scored the software.

Is any company named here a Wonderflow client?

No. None of the companies named on this page is a Wonderflow client. Wonderflow sells search and AI visibility work to software companies and may offer it to companies named here. That does not change what this page reports.

Method and data

Research question
Which real estate CRMs does Google’s AI name when agents, teams and investors ask for the best one, and which pages does it cite?
Searches
Twenty searches we wrote in buyers’ words, grouped into nine kinds of agent and need. All 20 are in the tables of section 03.
Where we asked
Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews, United States, English, collected through the DataForSEO API.
Runs
Three runs of every question on each surface on 28 October 2026, 120 requests, collected between 17:43 and 17:55 UTC. AI Mode answered all 60. AI Overviews appeared in 58 of 60.
Named
A CRM counts as named if its name appears in the answer text. Names were matched against a list of 74 companies and 89 spellings of their names, including former names, taken from bold text and links in the answers. A name counts as stable if it appears in at least two of three runs.
Cited
Every link in the answer text and in its list of sources, each address counted once per answer. A link counts toward a company if it leads to the company’s own site. The kind of each site is our classification.
Words
In section 04, an entry is the first list item or table row of an answer with the CRM’s name in its first line, one per answer. A word counts if it appears in the text of that entry, not counting link addresses.
What a figure means
How often Google’s AI named or cited a company on one day. Not the quality of the software, its fit for an agent or its market share.
Updates and corrections

Limits
  • ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini were not measured. This page covers Google’s AI only.
  • In 14 of 40 groups of runs (one question on one surface), all runs returned the same text word for word, so “three of three” there is one observation repeated. Counting identical texts once, the 118 answers hold 85 different texts.
  • One AI Overview, for “best real estate crm with idx website,” came back from the data provider about ten minutes after the others and is counted as that question’s third run. AI Overviews did not appear in one run each of “best real estate crm for small teams” and “best crm for zillow leads.”
  • Named includes mentions for contrast. We left out of the matrix and the tables the mentions we found that are not suggestions: Follow Up Boss and BoldTrail in the questions about their own alternatives, Zillow Premier Agent in the question about Zillow leads, Zapier named as a way to connect an IDX site to a CRM, and HubSpot and LionDesk in one answer about dialers that named them as CRMs to add a dialer to.
  • Of the 868 links, 33 are technical (images, Google search pages and the data provider’s own addresses).
  • One day and one location. The data provider did not record the device type. AI answers change over time and from user to user.
