Definition

What a B2B website has to do that a regular site doesn’t

B2B web design is planning and building a website for buyers who compare vendors for weeks, often several people at one company. The site has to explain a complex offer, answer each buyer’s questions before the first call and make the next step easy.

A regular website

  • Hard to find when buyers search Google or ask AI.
  • Visitors can’t tell what you make or who it’s for.
  • The menu follows your org chart.
  • Nobody knows which pages bring inquiries.

A B2B website

  • Pages are planned around what buyers search for and ask.
  • The first screen says what you sell, for whom and why you.
  • The menu follows how buyers look: by product, industry and problem.
  • Inquiries arrive with the page and the traffic source behind them.

The Wonderflow Method

How we build your website Six steps, 14 to 20 weeks.

Every step ends with something you can review, and the next step builds on it. Strategy comes first, because every page, word and design choice depends on it.

You review and approveLarger sites

Most sites take 14 to 20 weeks. Larger sites get the extra time in design and build.

Example deliverables for a maker of industrial cooling systems.

01Weeks 1–3

Website strategy, with SEO and AI search built in

We start with a briefing on your offer, buyers and sales process. Then we research what your buyers search for and ask AI tools, and turn it into the site plan: which pages you need, what each must answer and how they link. Every project starts here, because every later decision builds on it. If you already have a recent SEO strategy, we build on it instead.

You get
A sitemap built on real searches, a brief for every page and recommendations for search and AI answers.
Your part
A briefing form or a short call, then approve the sitemap.

It uses the same keyword and page research as our SEO strategy. See SEO services →

02Weeks 4–6

Wireframes with real copy

We write the copy and lay it out in simple gray wireframes, page by page. You judge the message and the structure before any design, while changes are still quick.

You get
Wireframes for every page type, with the final copy in place.
Your part
Check the facts and the message, then approve the wireframes.

Design: moodboards, three first-screen concepts, then every page

We start with moodboards to agree on the look. Then we design three concepts for your homepage’s first screen, and you pick one. We design the full homepage and carry its style to every page through one design system: shared colors, type and components, so new pages stay consistent.

You get
Three first-screen concepts, a finished homepage and designs for every page type, for desktop and mobile.
Your part
Pick a concept, then approve the homepage and the other pages.

04Weeks 10–13

Build on Webflow, WordPress or Tilda

We build the site on the platform that fits the people who will run it: Webflow, WordPress, Tilda or another CMS if you need it. Your team can update pages in the CMS without writing code.

You get
A working site on your CMS, built for phones and desktops, with search basics in place: page titles, headings, structured data and redirects where needed.

Forms, integrations and tracking

Forms ask only what sales needs and send each inquiry to your inbox or CRM. Analytics counts inquiries as conversions, so you can see which pages, channels and ads bring them.

06Week 14

Testing, launch and handoff

Before launch we check every page type on phones and desktops, send test inquiries through every form and check that they arrive, and set up redirects if you’re replacing a site. Then we hand over admin access to your site and CMS and, if your team needs it, walk them through updating the site.

You get
A live, tested site and admin access to your site and CMS.
Your part
Approve the launch.

Questions buyers ask

Before you start a website project

The short answer comes first. Open any question for the detail.

How long does a B2B website take?14 to 20 weeks for most sites.

We plan most B2B sites for 14 to 20 weeks. Strategy and wireframes take about six weeks. Design and build take the rest, and larger sites get more time there. Your review speed matters too: the plan marks each review, and quick answers keep the launch on schedule.

Do you write the copy?Yes. We write every page.

We write the copy from your briefing, your materials and what your buyers search for. You see it first in the wireframes, laid out on the page, so you judge the message before any design. You check the facts and approve it before design starts.

Which platform should our site use?The one your team can run easily.

We choose it with you during strategy. Webflow is easy to edit visually. WordPress handles large content libraries and many plugins. Tilda is a simple builder that works well for smaller sites. We can build on another CMS if you need it.

Is SEO included? The SEO strategy is. Ongoing SEO is separate.

Every project starts with a website strategy built on search: the pages buyers need, what each must answer, titles, headings, internal links and structured data. Ongoing work after launch, such as new content and links, is a separate SEO program. We don’t promise rankings or AI mentions.

Can you connect the site to our CRM?Yes, once we check your setup.

Forms can send inquiries to email or to your CRM. We check your setup during strategy and agree on what we connect before the build starts. Moving data from one CRM to another is not part of a website project.

Can you work with our current brand?Yes. We build on what you have.

We use your logo, colors, fonts and brand guidelines, and the moodboards in the design step show how they will look on the new site. If your identity needs work before the site, we can start with our branding service →

Do you use AI?Yes, to research and draft faster. People decide.

We use AI to research searches and competitors and to draft first versions faster. People run the strategy, write and edit the final copy, design every page and test the site. Every result that reaches you is checked and approved by a specialist you know by name.

What happens after launch?Your team runs the site. We can help.

You get admin access to your site and CMS, and your team can update pages without writing code. Updates and small changes can continue under our website maintenance plan. The same team can also run your SEO, AI search and ads, so the site keeps growing with your marketing.
